The cache is located in a pretty little "pocket" park near our house that we like to take our grandson to.
Have a look around, you are in the Baker Neighborhood. This historic neighborhood was developed in the 1870s. Denver's Baker neighborhood has been and continues to be one of the city's most diverse and dynamic neighborhoods, tucked away in the heart of town. With access to shops and eateries on Broadway, Baker is a uniquely vibrant urban community and a grand place to call home.
This neighborhood contains one of the country's largest collections of Queen Ann Victorian homes. There are hundreds of 19th century brick houses and 39 buildings by locally famous architect William Lang.
Walk around the neighborhood and imagine what Denver was like over 100 years ago !
Feel free to leave a small collectible behind.
Congrats to Vegantriathlete for the FTF !
This park was named for Hector M. Flores. Unfortunately, I could not find any information on who Hector Flores is (or was). If anyone knows, please let me know and I will update the description to include that information.
