Had another look at this one today. Off the DNF list! Car wash owner not around this morning, and we made this one our first of the day. Had a little help from OKW to speed up the process in case the owner returned, so we were in and out quick this time.

We parked by the Dollar Store to be less conspicuous in case the car wash owner arrived. We had the cache in hand in a short time and were on our way.

Fooled by a 7 year old. Ouch!

The owner of the car wash owns the property right up to the survey pin we found next to the steel post at GZ. He's there puttering around most of the time (he's owned the place for the last 30 years), so if you spend any time here, you can expect he'll be back to have a discussion. We gave him a song and dance about re-locating the survey pin. We gauge our interactions based upon gut feel, and figured this one needed to be kept 'simple'. He was good with our explanation, but not sure how he'll react to the real story.

FWIW, the hint didn't help us much. The person mentioned wouldn't have had anything to do with any of the things we found here. He was the DC guy, not the AC guy. Westinghouse, perhaps, or Bell?
