thegeocachekids have been out and about all summer and finally we explored this new park and left our club hide. Container is an ammo can loaded with swag and trackables. Please make sure to trade.  This cache is designed to be kid friendly and its disappointing to watch swag disappear and nothing be left.

I needed an easy and short day hike, so I came back to the Lincoln Mountain Open Space. I managed to make the find on this one with no drama, other than the rain and hail! Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find and giving me an excuse to come back to this area. TFTC.

This was a great hide, in a great open space. Always love the large caches. It has a really cool Viking Mission patch in there - nice to see and encourage kids to look it up. TNLNSL, TFTC.

I stuck with the trail until reaching the summit, since I've learned the hard way to stick to the trail as long as I can in Colorado. :-) It looks like a fox may be taking up residence nearby, since he left his calling card right in front of the cache! Cool ammo can, had not seen one like it. The rocks here are really cool with interesting lichen on both the rocks and the soil, so I tread as careful as I could. TNLN, which is a shame since the big cache could use some swag.

Someone had tucked an owl in one of the little caves in the cliff staring down at the switchbacks. Almost had me dig out my binocs until I realized it must be a decoy.
