La Veta pass needed another cache, didn't it? The cache is just south of Hwy 160 on Co Rd 442, less than 1/4 mi. from the turn-off.
Big enough to hold a lot of swag and TBs.

Dog Roxy and I on way to Great Sand Dunes and some easy/safe GC's on the way. Nice spot to sit and look over this small valley. Nice day, no hurry.

TFTC! Visiting from the Springs for a living history day at Fort Garland. We also managed to squeeze in a little dune sledding! Decided to get one smiley face on our way home and pulled off for this quick grab. 'I' took a skull bow and left a pepper. 'A' took a football sticker and left a puppy.

TFTC! FWIA, Izzifix and I took a little trip to the Sand Dunes today to grab some caches. Had great weather and an equally great day. We found a FTF cache together that had been published 3 months ago! Thanks to all the COs for making us get up and go! SL HM2

Ah yes, back in beautiful Colorado with Izzifix & Harvestmoon2 for family time.

Today was our day to visit The Great Sand Dunes National Park. We got a couple of Earthcaches and a Virtual but decided hiking to to High Dune was not for us today. We still enjoyed the beauty and geology here.

Stopped for a few more caches on the way back to Olney Springs, driving through wind, rain and hail. We were even lucky enough to grab an FTF on a cache published 3 months ago. Very exciting day indeed.
