I found it with LilRyRy and CDRSheppo after their swim lesson. I remember when this one was published, but it was a bit of a drive for me to attempt a FTF. We happened to be nearby today for one of the EOTS caches, so we made a quick detour for this one as well. I was looking for something a little different, but once I opened my mind to other possibilities, I spotted it quickly. The surprise inside was great. Thanks for the cache!

TFTC! Borrowed my sister's bike and rode five miles from my mom's house to grab the cache. Unfortunately, my sister's bike got a flat when I was still a mile from the cache, so it was a long more walking than expected

FTF!! Our first FTF! I saw the notification come up when this was published (9:07am) and actually took a while to decide to drive to Monument from the Springs. I'm certainly glad that we did! It was a nice walk down to GZ and we made the find quickly. I was shocked that we were there first (10:43AM).

Upon opening the cache, we were suddenly attacked by an alligator! It tried to bite us but a crowing rooster disrupted its concentration and we were able to get the upper hand.

Other than the alligator and the crowing rooster, we also saw fish, a swallowtail butterfly, dragonflies, damselflies, crows, and a fox! We spent quite a bit of time in this lovely, peaceful location sitting on a bench and relaxing. I was startled when the fox just appeared on the trail about 10 feet from us. It didn't see us for a moment and it was so fun to watch.

TNLSomething, signed log. TFTC!
