Many Gnomes, after leaving their old home, the GreatGnome Valley, came to live in the forests on the slopes of GreatGnome Mountain. Many of these Gnomes are quite friendly, including this one that has decided to welcome you to the San Isabel National GnomeHome (Forest).
There is an adequate place to pull over right near the cache. Some summer weekends can be busy on this scenic byway, so be sure to use caution after finding the cache if the road is busy. Please do not mess with the sign. Gnome respect public property, and would never hide on a sign.
