A nice hike in Matthews/Winters Park.
The original cache was from the SeedPod cache (GCHT3D) planted by 3TacosNoMeat. It was a Rubbermaid box. Unfortunately, sometime in early 2005, someone stole the logbook and TBs out of the cache then urinated in it. Grrrrrrrrrr!

It was replaced on March 12, 2005 with a large pill bottle. Now, almost four years later, it has been replaced again. Hopefully this container will last another four years! The current container is bigger than a large pill bottle, but smaller than an ammo can.

Many thanks to JMKR for replacing the cache for us on March 20, 2015. We really appreciate it. The new container is: Loc'n'Loc about 6" x 4" x 2" with some camo tape containing a logsheet, pen, and couple minor swag items.

Muggles all over the trail today, nicely hidden so you can duck down and stay hidden from people walking by while you deal with the cache. Amazing views. TFTC!

In Denver for work for the week and couldn’t resist coming out to visit this famous place. And of course I love geocaching so I had to do some of that while here. Super snowy today but the hike was still beautiful and the cache was quick and easy. SL and went on my way. TFTC!!

I had to make another trip to Golden today, but fortunately I had time to pick up a few caches at oh-dark thirty. I’ve never been to Matthew Winters Park before, so it was good to have the opportunity to visit and check out some of the trails. Despite the nice trails, my main objective was to pick up caches, so I am very grateful the CO made this placement. I was fortunate to make the find on this one without any drama. Thanks to the CO for the fun hunt, enabling a nice hike, placing this cache, and bringing me to this spot. TFTC.
