This is a shout out the the many men who built rural reservoirs in the early 1900's for irrigation for theirs (and others) lands.   This is one of many bodies of water that was a matter of survival!  This "pond" is also known as Nofstger Reservoir and has a counterpart farther west (Nofstger, Zeigler Reservoir)  

The cache container is a shout out to the amount of critters that will carry you off here!  Bring your fishing pole (public access is allowed) and a picnic lunch and stay a bit, but BRING THE BUG SPRAY!!

I truly believe that this cache is wheelchair accessible.... if you find this NOT to be the case, please let me know!

Saw this one come up yesterday and since we had to go to Craig today we thought we would take a detour.
All was quite on warm day!
Mrs. rockymtn8iv & I spotted it at about the same time.
Love the unique container.
You weren't kidding about the insects around here! Shock
If the fish are proportional we'll be back to catch a feast soon!
