This is the new and improved Emma's East West Trail #2 that I built with my dad back when we started geocaching (the original is GC2FC83). It was muggled and eventually archived. We moved back to the area and got the chance to reinstate it with a new container and fresh swag for the kids. I hope you enjoy it!

I parked in the suggested lot and made the hike to Valley of the Muggles, then back out to the North. Decided to pick up this cache as well before sunset and had no trouble locating it. Cache is well hidden and in great shape. Thanks for the great cache.

I parked at Daniels Gate Park and hiked one section of the trail and then doubled back to the car. I was not sure I would have enough time to grab all the caches on my list, but I did. So I continued on and hiked the other side of the trail. The trail is in great condition and there were less than 5 areas of mud/snow and it was close to 75 degrees in the afternoon. For the first time in about 6 months, I actually broke a sweat while hiking. I found all of the caches that I went after (16/16). I was planning to grab 4 more that were part of a series, but that section of the trail is closed until April. I had a great day, and I love caching in the winter/early spring because there is less bushwhacking involved and the caches are not as well hidden. Also less muggles. Total mileage for the day was about 7.5 miles in about 4 hours. Thanks to everyone for the caches here on the trail.

I found out how muck my rear brakes were failing as I sailed down this hill on my bike. Luckily I was able to stop just short of GZ and grab the cache!
