Chance thought that it would be good to hide the cache on top of the rock, but I told him that it would be more protected from the weather and muggles behind the rock.

What a great day to hike this area! Never been here before...noticed several caches along this trail so had to try it out. This first one didn't disappoint. Dropped a TB and took one to move along.

This was our very first geocache and my kids absolutely had a blast. The container was in good shape after the winter and the rains. The hiding spot was awesome!

Found with no trouble. Left a TB car, took bead necklace & Colorado patch. Apologies for digitally dropping the TB in Jake’s Rock (GC3QW5B). I don’t have a record of the code to fix the digital error.

It seems fitting that my dog and I found this and one other cache named after a dog today. Here’s where it gets complicated: there was a small container inside the big punctured container and I replaced the small one with a medium one. I would have taken the larger one too, but my replacement wasn’t big enough to hold the swag. Now the log is better-protected and the swag is no worse-off than it was. I also took the candy out so another bear wouldn’t be tempted. Anyway, thanks for the cache. It was a fun hike.
