Enjoyed solving the puzzle. Interestingly there was a small garter snake hanging out on top of a branch on one side of the host. Thankfully I found the Geocache on the other side tftc

This was a familiar area, as I had a hide for several years less than 200 feet away from GZ. Fun puzzle and I remember those early South Park days! Signed log. Thanks for the cache!

[FTF] at 4:54pm. This was a nice and straight forward puzzle. Admittedly I have seen MAYBE two episodes of South Park in my life. But I was familiar with what this was as soon as I saw it and it was an easy solve. But I was working and no way I was going to get FTF.
I had a break in my afternoon though and I saw this still wasn't found. Surprising given that there are a fair number of FTF hounds around. I needed a puzzle for the day and figured it was worth a shot. I enlisted my daughter for the search. We took the quick drive over to the final and started our search.
One thing that didn't quite line up was the terrain rating on the comment on it being sketchy if it was snowy or wet. I GUESS that could've been true I thought. But it was hardly that challenging. Coords put me right on top of a nice relatively bare pine tree. Easy to spot a cache there, right? But there was nothing there. Expanded search to other pine trees. Nothing. Searched, searched, searched. Messaged CO - no response. Kept searching. After about 40 minutes I figured either I was blind or the cache had been muggled already. So we headed home.
After getting back to work I had a few messages come in from the CO. Cache was moved but the puzzle hadn't been updated! Thankfully that scratched being blind off the list. But I figured someone else would still pick up the FTF.
After I had finished work (enough) I enlisted my teenage daughter again and our two young foster kids and headed over to the new GZ. I can't remember what exactly was here before, but I KNOW I have found a cache here in the past.
I took a slow lap around and then spotted the cache. But there was no log! :) I have definitely been there and done that with my own hides before. Unfortunately the best thing I had in my car was a paper napkin. So I coiled that up as best as possible and put it in the container.
Definitely one of the more interesting FTF experiences I've had, but worth it in the end to get a puzzle for the day (as I slowly work toward puzzles on all 366 days) and another FTF as I slowly march towards 100 FTFs.
Thanks for the hide mm&mm
