“Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader”
CONGRATULATIONS sleuthers for being FTF YOU ARE SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER !!! Awesome job!!!
In order to finish elementary school students have to successfully get through Kindergarten through Fifth grade. That is why it is vital for you to also go through all the other caches so that you too can make it all the way to Fifth grade!
Just like at regular school you will need your own writing tool!
Since the theme is are you smarter than a 5
th grader, I thought it would be fun and light-hearted to share your own favorite fun fact you have learned that most people do not know. It is optional - but thought it would be a fun way to connect with other geocachers. Humor is always appreciated.
I have lots of silly things stuck inside my head that would probably be on the show “Are you Smarter Than a 5
th grader.” Here are a few that I know: Your heart beats over 100,000 times a day! Camels have three eyelids to protect themselves from blowing sand. A giraffe can clean its ears with its 21-inch tongue!
For these waypoints there is no need to leave your vehicle. Take a moment as you are driving around and really look at the beautiful sights. There are some awesome and unique things to see as you find the different waypoints.
Since this is 5
th grade – there will be 5 locations for you to visit – 4 waypoints and the final cache!
The clues you collected from Kindergarten through 4th grade should give you the coordinates for the first waypoint.
The circle is the setting sun.
From Kindergarten Stars (0) there was one piece
From 1st (1) through 4th (4) there were 2 pieces
First Waypoint = N39° 13.240 W105° 23.140

When you get to the way-points and cache areas, it is important to use stealth when discovering the treasures that lay within the cache! Clues are abundant.
I hope you enjoy this very special Cache (the first one) of the series! It was fun to create and I hope it was equally fun to find!
Enjoy! There will be special gifts for FTF! I look forward to reading your logs and sharing in your joy as you experience this wonderful place!
Enjoy the surroundings. Take care of each location. Be careful not to leave any evidence that you have come. Extreme caution should be taken so as not to arouse the suspicion of the surrounding muggles. The youngest muggles can be a challenge as you are trying to avoid detection. Take a moment and enjoy the hidden treasures around you.
If you have any questions – or concerns – Please email us. I want this to be the best caching series ever – and I know I have steep competition as I love thematic cache series. I love the series’ by The Green Cat & Snuggly Kitten I have been very inspired by them and hope the geocachers who experience my caches have as much fun as I had exploring theirs!
