This cache was placed in honor of my son's 10th birthday. I was looking for a place to place a cache and I saw a trail marker that said CAUTION. Well I just had to go up that trail. As I got to the bad section I stopped to scope it out and move a few rocks. I then noticed a vehicle about 150 feet off the edge and I could not make out the make or model it was so badly beaten from the tumble off the cliff.
You will be looking for a PVC inside a larger PVC. This will give you the coordinates to the final, an Ammo can.
If you are not fond of Scree, boulders, and a hike at altitude this one is not for you.

TFTC! I loved this cache. It was well thought out and a quality cache. I added a fav point. We took a few minutes to find the first stage and I was getting worried we would be walking away empty handed. We hunkered down and looked a little more thoroughly. We had to put our heads together for stage two, also. Best not to march off in the direction the compass is pointing for the nest stage. We found a better path.

WOO HOO! This one has been staring at me for too long-mocking me being so close to my home, yet so far. CB_Beauty and I finally had a chance to take our side-by-side up here. Coords for the first stage were spot on. CBB eagle-eyed it right after we were afraid to give up. We made our way over to the second stage, coords also spot on for it, too. We circumnavigated the scree for the second stage, taking a longer, but easier hike up and up and up some more.

I've been wanting to do this little loop for a while, and was finally blessed with the good weather I wanted. Thanks for the nice cache - and BTW, motocross pants are very protective while crawling through the krumholtz...

I figured this one was for me since I kind of like scree, boulders, and hiking at altitude. Great location. TNLNSL. Thanks!
