Mrs. Herndonrd had a horse thing between Longmont and Boulder so I spent a couple of days getting some virtuals, earthcaches, and assorted others up in the area. FeartheFish tagged along for part of it. Found the first set of coordinates easily. Made a mad dash to the final to beat the storm (see posted picture) and got some hail "damage" from it. Nice little multi. TFTC!

This day's journey began en route to an event in Berthoud, Colorado. @WindAtMyBack and I found some well placed caches, some well hidden caches, and caches placed in beautiful places. Then we went to the event and began our caching journey with the group and finally carpooled with @2lablovers for the rest of our journey. A fun day filled with friends and fun finds.
Very well done! We found the waypoint, but didn't realize that we picked up about a million goat heat thorns en route to the fi al. They are easy to get out of shoes :) The log was a little damp. Tftc!

This was my first multicache in Colorado, which gives me multis in 21 states and six different icons in Colorado. It was also my 28th find for the day, which allowed me to finish the requirements for a challenge cache down in Texas. So it was an important find for me; it also leaves me just 15 short of 22,000 finds. The cache itself is a good two-stage multi, with the only problem being all the sticker plants underfoot; I'm glad I was wearing sturdy shoes. I liked the way the final coordinates are presented at stage one, and the final was easy to locate; I really didn't need the hint, but it was nice to have it. Good job and TFTC!

Out for another day of geocaching in 90+ heat. Started a little earlier, but had to quit by 2 pm; just too hot. Working on getting caches for the hidden creatures souvenirs. Last cache of the day. Fun multi! SL, TFTC.
