The hint was very useful here, but it still wasn't an easy find for me. But a find is a find; nice job and TFTC!

What an adventure! I joined up with KalahariFox in Denver to stay with some friends out that way. We are Athens, GA based! Besides catching up with old friends, we decided to make a caching adventure out of the trip (duh.). We ended up grabbing many caches (some very desirable ones!) in CO, KS, and NE during our stay. My favorite part is always seeing what kind of wildlife we encounter. This trip we ended up seeing a pronghorn, prairie dogs, turkey vultures and even a prairie rattlesnake! So neat! Thanks for helping make this trip a total delight :)

I had heard about prairie chickens, but never seen one in person. I was so excited to see some during our long drive! The cache was right where it is supposed to be :)

We were actually able to see some of the eponymous prairie chickens! It's a long, straight, flat road back into CO, and we wanted to get a few more caches as the light and hour allowed. One of the last of the day.

I was out in Denver for a work conference (my first time in the area) and was joined by Lizzybeth13 to spend a few extra days visiting friends and finding caches. Before flying out, I considered, just how close would I be to Mingo, that legendary oldest active cache? It was about a 3:30h drive and that was close enough for me! Today's trip took us out to Kansas to find said cache and a selection of others on the way, then up to Nebraska simply because I never yet had occasion to visit the state. Conditions were clear and hot. We managed to see some wildlife (as I always hope we do) including pronghorn, prairie chickens, a ton of turkey vultures, and plenty of prairie dogs. It was a beautiful (if mostly flat) drive, and a successful day for caching. Thanks for placing this one

Out caching with Nan-D1955 on a road trip that began the day after Thanksgiving and ended when we got back home late the following Monday afternoon. In all, we drove (well, she drove; I navigated) nearly 2200 miles from Missouri to Wyoming, picking up counties, virtuals, traditionals, earthcaches, a pair of webcams and challenges along the way. Though we started in the late morning of Friday, we made great time, and for the other days, we were up before the sun and didn't make it to our hotel until well after dark. We saw some amazing sights, visited some historic places, and had a blast!

Thanks to my geopal, Nan, without whom I couldn't have experienced all these caches. Thanks to all the COs who placed and maintain the physical caches, and the COs who researched and developed the virtual, webcam and earthcaches. Without you, we never would have stopped there and discovered what you already knew was there.

All answers to virtual and earthcaches have been submitted to the COs, on behalf of myself and Nan-D1955.

On another adventurous road trip with Spiritwolf922. This trip is all about getting MINGO, 2 webcams, challenge caches, virtuals, and other caches of opportunity along the way. In total, we drove almost 2200 miles in 4 days! All necessary answers have been submitted for both of us by Spiritwolf.

Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches and THANKS to my awesome navigator who gets us where we want to go. TFTC

Logging some finds from a recent trip. The container for this one is destroyed. We found half of it with a rock on top and no log. Then found the log in the grass. Returned log to partial container and added a larger rock to hopefully hold it in place. Thanks for the hide!
