I went ahead and hiked the trail again to get better coords for this cache because people are saying they looked as far as across the creek and that is not the case. The cache is just of the trail and hopefully the coords will be better now. Happy caching!

The coordinates were pointing me across the creek, but with no obvious hiding spots in view over there I checked a couple potential spots on the trail side... but no luck.

After being unsuccessful at finding the first cache, I thought I would have better luck here, with a easy to identify landmark. The trail to this cache could easily be rated a 2 because of the rocky stream crossings and off camber trail. As I neared the GZ I saw the host and had already read the hint. But no cache in sight. I looked at the coords, which led me off trail, across the creek. I looked there and ended up scanning an area about 50 feet around the bench. No luck.
As a side note, I found the first cache on my way back.
Beautiful trail.
