*** Congratulations to the5millers, PoshCacher, and MagicCacher for being FTF! ***

This replaces the little multi-stage cache I had here, because I can't find a good place for stage 1 since they changed the sign.

As my caching horizons expand I realized that I have to be well rounded. That means picking up mystery, multi, whereigo, and earthcaches. The first two I don't mind so much. But solving mystery caches requires a bit of effort on my half. So I've been working on them. Today my journey took me to Highlands Ranch and Broomfield. Found all the caches I was looking for.
Grabbing the SSS to solve the final. Like the others, I started off on the King Soopers side and quickly found my way to the correct side of the fence.
Happy Fourth of July!!

I found it with LilRyRy and CDRSheppo. LilRyRy remembered being here before, so he insisted we had already found it, but I told him we had been on the wrong side of the fence before. I made the find while they played for a little bit on the playground. Thanks for the cache!

Found @ 920 TFTC more later

Running a few errands in this part of town and making it even more productive with a find or three. Had this one on my radar for a few weeks and just happened to catch it at a less busy time. This was a quick find as I got lucky and started on the correct side of the fence which saved some walking. Log and container are in great shape and ready to be found again.

Thanks for placing this cache and helping to keep the madness alive.

As with others, I started on the wrong side of the fence. After I made the correction it was a quick find. Just a friendly correction that the cache is in no way wheelchair accessible as ADA requirements require accessable areas to be paved. Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

My #2879 with David before the rain. I needed his longer arms to reach the container without finding a tool. Clever hide. TFTC.

Ask people what they love about geocaching and they'll often say "it's the places it brings you." But with that - it's not often you go to the same place twice. Now that I've been caching for a little over 4 years though, caches I found years ago are being archived and new ones are popping up in the same area. Sometimes by the same CO!

Such is the case with this one. The original version of this cache was my second multi. The first was one that is close to my house and has been archived but I revived so others could have that deja vu experience. :) At any rate, the original version of this cache brings back a lot of memories. At the time, I had only been seriously caching for a few months. I thought I knew what I was doing and what to look for. I was wrong.

This little park isn't far from work and I remember coming over here during a lunch break, figuring I'd find WP1 pretty easily. Long story short - I ended up DNFing it. I couldn't find a CONTAINER anywhere! Imagine my surprise when I realized that in multis - the first waypoint isn't always a container! In this case, it was a magnet. It blew my mind. Now, I don't bat an eye at these types of hides. But back then, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

And it wasn't just the way a multi could be done, this was the first South Suburban Sudoku cache for me. It took almost a year to get the final and it remains as one of my favorite series out there. So many cool places it took me and such a great achievement. Amazing that in six years, only 28 cachers have signed the final.

Anyway, it was great having a reason to come back to this little park for all the memories that it brought back. Beyond the places geocaching takes me, it's the memories that are made that are one of my favorite parts of this great game.

Thanks for the hide KA&JWest. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks for placing a fairly easy cache for us to find!

We have such a knack for making the easiest caches hard. Of course we started on the wrong side of the fence but once we were on the right side it was a quick find.
