On August 5, 2020, we posted a Reviewer Note on this cache informing about new Colorado land manager policies.
It may be that this note was posted on this cache in error, though the area is managed by Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW). We still strongly encourage that you verify whether these or similar permission requirements apply to the property this cache was placed on.
Apologies for the inconveniences and happy geocaching.

Effective July 1, 2020, Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW) requires a valid hunting or fishing license for everyone 18 or older to access any State Wildlife Area (SWA) or CPW-leased State Trust Land (STL).
Learn more in these FAQs.
Going forward, no new geocaches will be published on these properties. Existing geocaches are allowed to remain as long as they do not cause issues and players respect the rules and regulations for access and recreation. Failure to do so may result in fines, and the loss of permission for existing geocaches to remain on SWA and STL properties.
This cache has one or more waypoints that are located on SWA and STL properties. In order for this cache to to remain active, we ask that you add the following language to your cache description by August 31, 2020 to educate players about the permit requirements:

RedV2 and I are out on another caching adventure. TFTC
Took some TBs, left some TBs.
I can see why 1009 had problems. Our gps's were bouncing around like rubber balls... 5 ft N.... 25 ft SW.... 14 ft E... And we hadn't moved at all. Finally I figured "Where would I hide it?" and there it was.

[FTF] at 1:30 pm. I should have studied the satellite map before heading out. There wasn't any reception at the cache site so all I got was a blur. My GPS and phone both were pointing all over the place, and I did some unnecessary scrambling. Then it started to rain. Bandit ran and hid under the truck, but I soldiered on. I put my phone & GPS in my pocket and used the "Where would I hide it" method and found it in short order. I think I avoided getting any water in the container as I stamped the FTF spot and added some swag. Of course the rain stopped as soon as I got everything back in place. In my haste I didn't notice if there was an FTF prize, so if there is the next person can have it. Thanks for another fun one in this series.
I liked this code. This was the only video game I could ever beat my son in.
