Well we were doing great grabbing some of the cache up on top of the Mesa. We stopped to get this one but it was just too close to the hunters camped there and we didn't want to be rude and wander around the edge of their camp. Maybe we'll try again next year.

While hiking from Carson Lake to Big Battlement we stopped off to find this cache. It is the first one we found while going from the Kannah Creek Road trail head up and over Crag Crest to Cottonwood Lake #1.

It was exciting to find a geocache after walking for miles. At this point we hadn't seen another person for days. I traded out my hat band so we could take the dream catcher. Thanks for the break in a beautiful area.

Up on the Grand Mesa (not just any mesa, like the one I live on, but the grandest one) and decided to take the drive around to Land's End and back. Walked around the guy just finishing getting his camper set up and just starting with splitting some wood. A popular campsite, I suspect.
