Guanella pass is named after Paul Byron Guanella. At this location, you will find a marker dedicated to Mr. Guanella.

This was also the location of the Geneva Basin Ski Area from 1963 - 1984.

Goldpot finds a Greaspot cache!

After our walk along the Silver Dollar Trail we went for a drive over the pass and found this cache in the process. Great views from up here and the leaves are already turning yellow!
