Take advantage of a wonderful trail and nature preserve at this premier park in Thornton.  This cache is on the 1.5 mile walking/biking path that encircles Eastlake Reservoir #3.  Bird watchers, bring binoculars!  Lots and lots of muggles on this popular trail.....be careful!

My phone put me a little ways away from Ground Zero, but I widened the search area and made the find. Container was soaking wet on the outside, but the interior was totally dry and the log is in good shape. Nicely done. Tftc

Heading out to run errands and decided to grab a few first. It's already pretty warm at 8:30 am and it doesn't help that I'm wearing jeans. Tried to pick ones where I didn't have to walk too far and could jump back into the AC quickly. (Yes, I'm feeling kind of wimpy today.) I had to grab a stick to clean things out before grabbing the cache, lots of spider webs with cottonwood fluff mixed in. Cache was pretty wet on the outside, but the log was only a little damp. Before replacing the camo, I put a couple sticks under the cache. Maybe it will stay a little drier. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2599.
