Takes less than an hour  Not Available during winter  Abandoned mines  Motorcycles  Quads  Off-road vehicles  Short hike (less than 1km)

We included parts of four different families in order to hide our loot. It is not hidden on the ground. It is hidden in a Pepperidge Farm Pirouette metal container. It includes paper and pencil, dog treats, matches, a golf ball, three pennies, three zip ties, and a rubber band gun. Enjoy the hunt, sign the log, and have fun making an exchange.

First to find! This was not the easiest cache to find, but it was definitely a good hide. Very well hidden, took some thinking to find.

However, I might caution others... if you decide to take kiddos, take proper precautions. We had our 4-year old and I was a little nervous due to the site hazards. This cache is located on what appears to be an old mining site and there are many hazards - rusty nails sticking out of boards, loose rotten logs, and worst, an EXTREMELY deep sink hole, which is NOT completely blocked with fencing or a type of barricade. Have fun finding, but just be careful!

Our son chose a penny to take, we left a mini Thomas & Friends train.
