Needs maintenance

It's 160 feet southwest of the former Cuchara Mountain Resort Information Center. Must cross bridge behind center.

Congratulations to kyotmoon for the FTF, and Cx4 for the STF!
It's a very short walk, just park by the Center, and then go over the bridge and walk a little further and it's to the left in a container with a brown lid under some sticks. Also, my aunt will be checking on the cache consistantly as she lives very close to the cache.

UPDATE:The "No Tresspassing" sign is old from when the area was a ski resort and that you shouldn't tresspass on the resort. Now that it's not a resort you can go and find the cache. Sorry for the confusion!
UPDATE #2: I heard the terrain is getting a bit rougher. The bridge I hear is becoming less stable and that there are a few fallen trees along the way to the cache, so I upped the terrain to 2.5. Happy hunting!

 Hints

Look for large mossy log. It will be very hard to find in the winter.

Find #12,795. On another epic journey to Colorado and back with purplesquirrel1 and doublemoose. It is wonderful that we're able to travel the country and enjoy a short time away from work. Crossing the bridge isn't bad if you have guts and are limber. We scored the find after digging our for a few minutes. TFTC.

bflentje, doublemoose, and I embarked on a long weekend roadtrip with the main goal of finally visiting GC19 in Colorado after prior thwarted attempts due to weather. We drove all night from Minnesota to Colorado Springs on our first day, cached in the area, then headed south to Trinidad. Happy to report that our foray to GC19 was successful! Thank you to the COs who placed these caches and keep them in such great shape.

Getting across that bridge was an adventure unto itself. Played peek-a-boo around a tree trunk with a small critter while I was searching for the goods. TFTC

We are logging this as found because we can't cross the bridge as it has collapsed
