Nice 30 minute hike up this trail to the Cache. Four cousins went on this hike (age 3 to 7) to hide this cache so although I rate the terrain as a 2.5, it is ok for young kids. Cache is located about 15' off the trail.
Cousins' Cache was hidden by four cousins visiting in Colorado. The trail head parking is at the intersection of Buffehr Creek Road and Lions Ridge Loop. The trail is hard pack dirt and has many switchbacks so the slope is not too steep. OK for kids over 3 years old. Hike to cache takes about 30-45 minutes depending on how much you stop to enjoy the scenery. Once on the trail you will come to two forks. Go right at each fork.
Cache is a Tupperware container approx 8" x 6" and 6" deep. Original contents are some miscellaneous toys, pins, log and pen.

 Hints

About 25 feet before the steping stone stream crossing look to the north of the trail. You will see an old fallen down tree stump. It is about 15 feet off the path and the only one in the area.

Found this on a warm, sunny, and enjoyable hike with great views. Container and contents are in good shape. Left a small geocaching notebook for a young cacher.

The hint was very accurate in describing the location but my gps pointed to gz as being about 30-40 feet west of the actual spot. Note that gz is difficult to see from the trail.

Tftc!!

A nice hike before golf. A lady told us these were beaver ponds, but I saw no beavers and no fish to eat. Took sloth TB and left a pathtag.
