icezebra11 and I searched for well over an hour without turning this into a find. We had earlier independently determined the road coordinates and they were identical. We also confirmed, at that specific spot, that we were at the exact distance. It's clear now, having read earlier logs on this cache, that the "10 meters from the road" is inaccurate and that the cache, if still there, is considerably closer to the road than 35 feet. Nonetheless, this was an interesting cache concept, and I'm pleased that we gave it a significant try. Thanks for it, cameltrekor!

Sorry to hear that. I will check on it next week.
It’s been a troublemaker.

Denali41 and I spent about 1 hour looking for this one near our calculated coordinates and came up short. We went back to the truck which was parked a ways away (where we started up the hill for Mammoth Cross) and found the info from youkfish's log so we went back and spent another 1/2 hour looking. Still no luck. And now that we're home and I see the info in jsarche's log, I think we spent way too much time too far down the hill.

Wasn't able to find this one. Walked about 150 ft in both directions from my projection. No luck. Will try again another day.

I found this one with Nickgatt and my geohound Cuervo while we spent the day hiking and caching in the Moffat Tunnel area. TFTC SL.

@15:11:00 #26737 Went for a hike near the Moffat Tunnel! TFTC
Found the ant hill. I must have done the same thing as Youkfish. I started out 126' away.

Took advantage of a rain free afternoon to visit this area and make some finds. A little cloudy and hazy, so not a Coloardo blue sky view, but still beautiful. No luck on my way up, but stopped again on my way down and had to use a little deductive reasoning to make the find. I ended up about 130 ft from my calculated coords, so not too big of a search area. Cache is in good shape. Cheers!

I planned ahead and did some calculations regarding the distance to travel on the dirt road. However, we got about 0.5 miles up the hill and decided not to traverse the snow. In some shady curves, the snow is still deep enough to lose traction in our Honda Pilot. We would have walked it, but we had two little kiddoes with us. We love the area, so we'll come back a different time. On the way back, we caught a glimpse of the Amtrak coming through, photo attached. Thanks for a fun search!

Spending some time at a Colorado cabin and doing some ATV caching. Definitely can't think of a better way to cache. Spent about five minutes at GZ doing circles before making the find. While signing the log, The Little Elf discovers the biggest ant hill any of us have ever seen. It was an ant city. Pretty cool. TFTC. SL.

This one had me doubting my ability to use Google Earth and my GPSr. I parked a bit short of where I thought the cache should be and spent 20 or more minutes sweeping all over the hillside looking for the spot mentioned in the hint. My real goal today was Mammoth Cross, so I decided to give up and maybe give this one another shot on the way back. Then, on the way to my car, I nearly stepped on the cache! Turns out, I'd parked right above it. It's much less than 10 meters off the road, but otherwise in great shape. Thanks!

I found it in the second area I looked. I actually parked right by it but I thought it was going to be about 100 meters farther up the road. I left a frog and took the geotoken.
