I love butterflies. From the time I was a small child butterflies made me very happy, I used to call them flutterbys. The Viceroy butterfly takes advantage of the protective coloration of the monarch by “mimicking”, or copying the colors and pattern of the monarch wing. With similar coloration, the beautiful viceroy butterfly can be mistaken for a monarch and is safe from these “educated” predators. Unsuspecting predators only need to taste a monarch butterfly or larva once to learn not to eat them again. The many species of butterflies love bright colored flowers and are considered pollinators. When outside I take butterfly pictures and share them with my friends.          Butterfly

Milkweed   Butterfly weed and other flower attractors can be planted in your garden. Although this plant can be poisonous in large doses, most pets will not mess with milkweed. The Tiger Swallowtail butterfly (Papilio glaucas) is a strong flier with distinctive yellow and black striped markings on its wings and body (some females are brown or black, mimicking the poisonous pipevine swallowtail). This relatively common butterfly can be found on milkweeds as well. Many butterflies have a single plant required as a food source for their larval form called a host plant. Monarch caterpillars will not turn into butterflies if they are laid on any plant other than milkweed, they will starve. Milkweed is the only host for a monarch butterfly to lay its eggs. Enjoy the walk and send me butterfly pictures.

Slipped out at the crack of dawn to get a couple of geocaches before the heat and traffic had a chance to affect my experiences - this was the last of the two. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

{FTF}. Somehow I deleted my first log ! Saw this publish, solved the puzzle and off we went. Nice walk to GZ. We were just there not long ago to get a nearby cache. Loved the "container". Very nice web page. Looked for some butterflies but did not see any. Thanks for the new cache.

Solved it easily and drove over. Met 2ll on the way back so I guess that makes me 2TF. Had no problem finding it with the original puzzle coordinates. Nice container and hide. TFTC!
