Scenic view  Significant hike  Available during winter  Stealth required  Medium hike (1km-10km)

The two critters and I had a great day hiking and playing around the area.  We were headed to Four Paws and I joked that we had six paws.  Button got a giggle out of that and that's where we came up with the name.

We snacked on a million raspberries and were stained a pink color.  We found all the caches we wanted.  Played in the creek and enjoyed a nice lunch.  Oh, and both critters earned a new Jr. Ranger Badge from the Helen Hunts visitor center for North Cheyenne Canyon!

Well, I happened to have a container in my pack and decided we might as well honor this fun day with a hide!  So, while it is a micro, it's in a nice little resting spot along the hot road and will provide you with some shade.

You'll find the cache about 3-4 feet up the only "blue" soft pine.  Best obtained from behind, not road side.

Hope you enjoy your day and hike as much as we did!

Tried this one a few months back but the snow was knee deep to a Giraffe. So today I was back to give it another try and walked away with a big smile on my face. Cache is in great shape. TFTC SL

Left the North Cheyenne Canyon parking lot at sunrise this morning with 2 goals: summit Mt. Rosa before the weather rolled in and pick up a few specific higher-altitude caches for a challenge I've been working on. Skipped a bunch of caches along the way due to previously posted DNFs, which freed up quite a bit of time to explore elsewhere - after summitting, I dropped south to Pike's Cave and then down to FR 381 (recon'd it back to where the trail crosses it - it's in great shape!), detoured to St. Mary's Falls, and even finally got to Four Paws. What a GREAT hike! I had been putting this one off due to trail reports talking about bullets whizzing overhead(!!) but those must have been from the Frosty Park approach - today's hike was quiet and felt totally safe. On the way down, I was so close to Four Paws that I couldn't resist going for it. Thanks for placing this cache along the way! My fitbit clocked me in at 20.15 miles by the time the rain encouraged me to go back to the car.

I took an unusual route to the hiking event on Seven Bridges trail today. It was Mount Cutler trail to Muscoco trail to Daniels Pass and up to Gold Camp Rd. It worked out well and gave me the chance to stop by here. Thanks for the good description of the location. It blends well and could have taken a lot longer otherwise. TFTC

When this one published my wife and I were leaving the Wedding Reception over at Saint Paul's only 1.9 miles away.

Anyway it was out of the question dressed for the occasion to even think about it.

So first thing this morning a went for a drive and a short hike.

I know a trail that hits the saddle right before the old cache.

Thanks for the hide and some great exercise to go with it!
