This straightforward cache is intended to commemorate the Red Ball Express of World War 2 fame.
The given coordinates are for a parking lot near some very visible large red balls.

First, before you set out, determine:

A = # of letters in the name of the country where the RBE operated _________

B = year the RBE operated _______

Then, at the site,

C = # of large red balls ______

Coords for the final container are:

40 1.D

-105 15.E

where

D = (B+A)/C + 153

and

E = D + 5

Final (pill jar) is less than 200 yards from initial coords. Log only, no pen. In keeping with the military theme, you are looking for what might pass as a lightly armored bunker for tiny soldiers.

This was one of my toughest, scariest, and most frustrating geocaching days so far. I started by spilling my coffee on my work shirt, then driving about 3 miles past the first geocache in the mountains. Wandered around till I found my way back. Then an Audi (I already have a distaste for them) was on my rear bumper when I came around a sharp corner to find a deer in the middle of the 2 lane road. I slammed on my brakes. The Audi barely missed me, swerved into oncoming traffic and nearly hit an oncoming car. He fishtailed and took off. I pulled over at the next pull off to calm down. Then I got in over my head climbing a rock wall (solo, no ropes and I'm not a climber). Finally got down after I was drenched in Adrenalin based sweat. Then a 20 minute search for a different cache without luck. I ended the evening at 9:30 pm with 14 finds.
I'm glad that my calculations were correct. Quick find at the GZ and a great way to end the night. TFTC!

Summervacation in beautiful Colorado. After a day at the Boulder Reservoir my son and I went to downtown Boulder and tis one showed up. I already knew about the Red Express so it was a hard task. At the GZ I had some problems locating the little fellow but after a while I succeeded Approve.
Thanks to CO for a fine cache Wink.
