Thanks for this great cache! Headed up this way after work for a hike to finish off 715 trail. I skipped this one last week as it seemed to take me off in a direction I didn't want to go. Looked easy enough. Made it to where I thought I would make the find only to find out I was not even close to finishing this one! A bit more bushwhacking and I made it to one of the BIG ammo cans! Awesome! Ahhhh youth.... being able to lug these things way up a mountain side! Lol! Signed and stamped the log and replaced everything as found. Everything is in tip top shape here! What a great hike and puzzle cache. Thanks again Tom.dog for a truly Tom.dog style cache!

That was quite the hill! Met up with RPieperco to grab the last caches we had in this area. We weren't expecting so much bushwhacking. A dart board and some darts are in the cache we thought about a game of darts but the thunder was threatening us so we put the cache back and headed down the hill to the next cache. Sl, thanks!

That was quite the hike. I found five caches that all needed a hike today and at the end of it was exhausted. The distance was far but the terrain and elevation losses and gains made progress very slow. Cheers.

2015 FTF! A journalist student wanted to learn about geocaching and write about it so I took him on a hike. Wanted to do a hike and find a large cache. Fun puzzle and steep hike. Picked up geocoin that was here for 480 days :)
Found using the fifth galaxy!

There was a trail to this cache?! Hardly. OK, maybe 20% trail and 80% scrubwhacking and steep slopes. I'm sure glad we bypassed it the last time as the snow would have made this one impossible. WingsAndTales had already solved the puzzle, I just came along to protect her from the bear. The fun really started when we decided to move on to the next cache. We were both exhausted by the time we got back to the car. But thanks for the exercise. It's always nice to find those huge containers…it makes all that effort more worthwhile.
