This cache is located at Whispering Pines Park, an attractive Douglas County venue with playground, picnic, and ballfield facilities. There are many pine trees in the park which do indeed "whisper" as winds blow through them. The park is open one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset daily.
Parking is available at the park entrance on East Park Drive. The cache is a small match holder which only contains a log, so make sure that you bring a pen or pencil along to sign it. Since this is a popular park, please be discreet and keep the cache hidden well.

We came to this park for the Decode Douglas County Outdoors game and wanted to grab this one but we couldn’t find it. The rock from the hint is lying in the middle of the field. No trace of a container. We found another rocks without container around either. Just found a small empty ziplock bag, which is a perfect size for a log. We’ll come back.

AHHHH, what a great day! The 3 monkeys were up to no good today. (That would be PayMeCache, fearthefish and I) We had ventured down this way from Denver with the sole goal of hitting the Mystery/Challenge power trail along highway 24. What you need to know is when you travel with these 2, you can always count on a lot of monkey business in your plan!! In fact, we never even made it to highway 24 because we kept stopping for fun hides like this one! TFTC

This was our final deviation of the day. We were headed back home and fearthefish speaks of one last cache that will earn a degree for me in the 360 Challenge, so once again we just couldn't say no! It was getting late and I was tired, so I appreciated the great coordinates and easy find.
