The hunt for Finglas and his lost treasure.  

Finglas is one of the last remaining Ents of the Fangorn Forest.  His last journey was through the Valley of Fountains.  He was traveling with a precious treasure in his possession, a treasure once meant for his lost mate.  It had been a long journey, and once he reached the meadow he grew very sleepy.  He thought it no harm to doze in this quiet little meadow, so he placed his treasure at his feet and fell into a deep slumber.  His plan was to awake in the wintertime to continue on his search for his lost entwife, but he grew more and more dormant and eventually remains here year round asleep in the meadow avoiding the troubles of the world.  Are you brave enough to search among his toes and find the lost treasure?  If so, please search with great care, for if you wake Finglas he may mistake you for an orc and squash you.

 

Cache is large enough for small travel bugs, coins, trackables, and swag.  Original contents: Log, pen, pencil, swag and a FTF prize for the FTF. Please replace as found for the next cacher. Have fun!!! Congrats to m4fun on the ftf!!!
