Spoiler 1
Spoiler 2

As the name implies...it's on top of Torreys Peak (14,267 feet). Arrive at the trailhead early and be rewarded with a good parking spot. Park at N 39 39.750, W 105 47.094.
Cache is a log only 35mm camo'd container. Recommend you begin your search about 30 feet west of where the people are huddled around the "top of the peak" log tube. Under a flat rock you'll find what you are looking for. As always...please be discreet...and bring something to write with.

This cache may be buried in snow during winter months.

Great hike and all the better for a cache. A little slick because of the snow, but well worth it. Started out in the dark and summited about 9:45 a. Ran into a trail guard who let me pass. Thanks for placing this cache, obviously a favorite point.

My 1st and 2nd 14er!! It was a tough hike due to the altitude (I’m from Tennessee) and steepness, but we were very happy when we reached the summits. Magnificent views from both peaks!
We looked a little then studied the spoiler pic to help us get the smilie. Thanks for placing a cache at 14,275 feet.

Hiking Grays and Torreys Peaks today with KJKlock. We were on the trail by 4 AM and made good time today. This was our fourth stop to find a cache and our second peak summit of the morning. So glad this one didn't take as long to find as the one on Grays Peak did. I signed my John Hancock on the log with my frozen fingers. Attaching a photo of the Geocache log in good shape and awarding a favorite point to this cache for the memories it created.

Found GCWZ10 - Torreys Peak Micro, on September 12, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, weizen for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

Grabbed this one while hiking Greys and Torreys with PayMeCache. Nice day for a hike and enjoyed the mountain goat that was hanging out nearby. TFTC

Denali41, non-caching friend Ward, and I made the very fun climb/scramble up Kelso Ridge today. The rock is pretty solid but there are areas of loose dirt and scree that have to be crossed that required close attention. The knife edge was pretty straightforward even though I butt-scooted it because my pack was heavier than necessary. After crossing the knife edge, the last 100 or so feet of climb to the top was an "unfun" trudge up the loose scree. But we made it to the summit and celebrated our successful journey up Kelso.

After some photos, I set about trying to locate this cache. The spoiler pictures were very helpful and I was soon holding the container. Upon opening it I discovered the log was totally soaked, so much that I couldn't unfold it without it coming apart in pieces. So I placed a new dry log in the ziplock and put that and the "spitwad" in the container. The next finder might want to bring a new ziplock small enough for a film can because the one in there is split.

Thanks weizen for placing this cache!!!

Weather was too harsh to stay long. We did find a memorial nearby. Glad we made the summit. TFTC

This years Birthday "Living List" hike two 14ers in one day, Grays and Torreys Peaks!...and of course some caching along the way. Who's idea of fun was this anyway? I was asking myself as I struggled with the breathing in these high altitudes...Oh yeah, mine! Always ready to conquer the difficult and once again I persevered..barely. Thanks to my amazing geo-gal-pal Kerewin0430 for joining me on this fun Birthday weekend adventure and her positive vibes and motivation along the way. What an memorable experience, no better way to enjoy the views of Colorful Colorado than to literally sit on top of the world. Love me some mountain medicine! Whew.. the first mountain top wore me out but with impending rain Lindsay was rushing me to the next mountain top and for good reason, I guess if I sat too long I mighta changed my mind..but nope had to complete the goal. So down, across and back up again. Torreys was a steeper incline but much shorter so seemed slightly easier. BAM!! we did it again, Mountain top #2! We looked for a bit longer than I'd like to but wasn't gonna quit would be a shame to make it all the way up here and then DNF this cache, as usual the perseverance paid off. Got it! TFTC!
