This is our first hide and we wanted it close by so we can keep it well maintained.  It should be an easy find and the kids will be able to see the geocache symbol on the cache before the adults do!
The cache is on an unmaintained road but is easily accessed from the south (Spring Creek Road).  After a hard rain, there may be a huge puddle but you won't have to cross it to get to the cache if you come from the south.  We like riding our bikes on the dirt roads in the area and frequently see deer, an occassional fox, and numerous birds. You might want to look for animal tracks around the puddle. There's almost always deer, usually bird, mouse, worm (does a worm leave a track?), sometimes fox (not to be confused with dog...a fox is small, and places it's back foot directly into the front foot print), skunk, raccoon, and squirrel. Don't forget to look for the buffalo directly to the west.
