This is a popular mountain biking and day hike area. Path is usually hard packed or rocky. There is an elevation gain of a couple hundred feet. Cache is at about 8500'.
Cache is a painted peanut butter jar. So keep cache items fairly small. This hike takes you to a nice overlook above Evergreen. Enjoy the hike/ride and the views. Original cache inventory:

Cache #1276! Loved the views in this area! Cache was in good shape and was the last cache we were able to log a smiley for. Glad we made it up to this area with a 7am start time as it got BUSY with mountain bikers all the way down. TFTC!
