Recent geocaches in the Grand Junction area have slowed to a minimum. This cache was placed to entice cache seekers to become cache seeders and place more caches in this and other areas.
This cache (large ammo-box) is stuffed full of various sized cache containers ranging from nano to large. Some log sheets and cache disclaimers are included.
The cache is placed near the unpaved portion of the Riverfront trail system. Use caution when searching in the immediate cache area due to very uneven terrain.
Parking is available at several location off of River Road. The south end of 24-1/2 road is a convenient one.
Upon discovering this cache, it would be nice if you would grab a container and publish a new cache for others to find. You do not necessarily need to place the cache in the Grand Valley. Anywhere in the world is OK with us.
All that we ask is that you forward us your cache information so that we can list it on this page to track how many containers have "hatched" and became fully developed caches! It would also be helpfull when logging the cache that you mention the size of the container taken so that we can keep a good supply of containers on-hand.
