The cache is a small with the tools included to retrieve the container. Follow the Rifle Arch trail till you are almost to the top of the first hill then your gps should lead you slightly off the trail. Once you find the container the tool required is strong, "hint hint" A short 25 min. hike without kiddos with kiddos ??? So still bring water and BYOP. read clue. Happy caching...

TFTC could not the container is rusted shut so could not log :( but still a good day for a hike!

Well we did find it but as others said it is rusted completely shut. At first MrJV had thought the description said the special tool needed would be within 25’ of the cache. But re-reading the description, not sure where that idea came from. Seems like the cache wasn’t placed back as originally intended because the tool wasn’t really needed, it was already to go. However, we are sure we had the inner container, but no luck getting to the log by whacking nor reefing with bare hands. Fun excursion amidst the hike to the arch. Thanks for the diversion.

The metal container is rusted shut so the log is not accessible. You probably need to take two sets of channel locks.

Found right off, needs owner maintenance. The log container is rusted shut. There is a piece of paper under the camo lid. Pretty wet, and manky. Write Diesel on it.
Great cache for sure, just needs some love.
