Not only do we celebrate our armed forces every fourth of July, but look out over the wheat fields of Colorado and give thanks to the American farmers who risked their lives and their capital to tame the west; those farmers and cattlemen and truck drivers who still today help give us the INDEPENDENCE and freedoms as a nation that we enjoy every July 4th.

Went for an early-morning drive out in the boonies north-east of the Denver metro area - no traffic lights, and very few stop signs - enjoyed it immensely - this was the first of four geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

I been hoping to get to this cache for sometime now and today I headed out to look for it. I was slow in finding it but read the logs to get a better coordinates. It was a quick find after that. I didn't trade anything but I signed the log.

We headed out to the eastern plains today with our dog Fred. We all had a great time and found 40 caches. Sunny and low 80s. No snakes seen and very few muggles which made for very fun caching.

Thought it was strange we couldn't spot a "regular" and then realized there were better coords posted by LostinDenver. Used those and walked right to it. Took a trackable that was not logged into cache.

I decided to do another run at some eastern plains caching today and managed to find 71. It was a beautiful, quiet and dusty, day for caching. I made the find here at 8:33 am. Thanks for the cache!
