There's a surprise awaiting you at this geocache.  Will you be able to solve the mystery:  "Paul Who?"  The cache is located along Bambi's Trail which can be accessed from the Gold Basin Road (CR 38) south of the heart of Hartman Rocks, or from the dirt roads within Hartman Rocks.   Bambi's Trail is closed to all usage except hiking in early spring from March 15th until May 15th.  Elevation at the cache is 8380'

From Bambi's Trailhead on Gold Basin Road, the cache is a 1/2 mile/20 minute hike along interesting and beautiful rock formations.  Watch out for mountain bikers!  If you drive to the upper Trailhead via the dirt roads of Hartman Rocks, you will see views of the mountainous north country, and the cache is a park & grab.  The signal will bounce around a bit, but don't give up -- you'll find it.  THERE IS A BIT OF ROCK SCRAMBLING TO GET TO THE CACHE. The cache container is small, without any room for trade items -- log only.

WOO HOO {FTF} with CB_Beauty. Prior to heading out, we googled all we could about Gunnison County, trying to figure out the hint. Imagine our surprise when the hiding spot had nothing to do with our research. We had a beautiful Hartman rocks hike, we did not cache and dash it. We first found another Lime Kiln cache along the trail, found this one, then High Tension. Glad we had plenty of water. Geo-dog seemed to enjoy the hike.

TFTC! {FTF} First to Find with SoldierGrrrl. We felt this cache had sat here long enough without a find. It was a sunny dry day for a walk out at Hatman's. After we found the cache, we traveled from Bambi's to Sawtooth and then a short bushwack to High Tension and back to the road and the car. It made an interesting loop. A little too hot for geo-dog though. We let him soak at the whitewater park on the way out so he was ok.
