There are a couple of ways to approach this one. You can take a short hike through a beautiful little valley or, when finding the right trail, you can 4-wheel through the aspens and get very close to the cache. This is a great area for hiking, camping, and 4-wheeling.
Hats off to Polaski for the long overdue FTF!

What a great day, out on the hill with Tink, a day off at last, an orange rising sun and the haze of fires to west still settled in the valleys below. We went up the Cow creek trail and headed across the plateau. Got to the area and found the 4 wheeler trail. Drove down to the creek crossing and headed off on foot. Boy was I surprised to find that no one had been here yet. I can't remember the last FTF. For a minute I felt like Dale Earnhart Jr. Traded a magnet for a wooden bead and head out to the road, and onto Yellowjacket Creek. TFTC, FTF and another great hike up in the forest :0)

Thought there was a possibility of a FTF, but it was not to be. Thought Polaski might be out fighting fires, but he is out finding caches! Ran into Jwjeep along the way and shared the find!
