This is the first in a series of *hopefully* many caches that Smokey the Bear's associates have hidden around the area. There may be many muggles in the area, so be stealthy! Depending in which side of the park you park on, this cache could be a quick park and grab, or a nice walk around the park. We hope you enjoy some of the fire prevention and other related swag that can be found in here, and try to leave some themed trinkets if possible! There is also a marsh very close by, you do NOT need to get in the water at all to find this one, and be careful with your little ones!

Found it! We took a badge, an eraser, and a sticker. We left a toy pig , a set of crayons, and some marbles. Sorry we couldn’t put any fire-themed items in, but we will come back later to put in more. Tftc!

{FTF} @11:00 am. Found on a rainy day which will help with the fire danger. Only you can prevent wild fires. When I lived in North Park Colorado I was a firefighter with North Park Fire and Rescue. I am also an Eagle Scout. The cache contained Smokey Bear Swag and USFS/BSA World Jamboree patches. I took a boy scout patch. I didn't have any fire related swag with me, but I will bring some back later. Thanks for placing this cache. I look forward to the rest of the Smokey Bear Caches.
