Thanks for the quality multicache. Took a bit to find stage 1, but got it eventually. Paper is soaked but readable. Dog was very happy to be out of the car for a while. Drove down to the second stage and explored for a while. Made the find on the final easily, it is nice and dry. Neat place! Will have to come back sometime to try camping and fishing.

Tried to keep going down the road because my map says it gets back to the highway eventually, but got stopped at the creek where it was flowing over the road. Some cyclists got there about the same time, they just waded across after changing clothes and picking up their bikes. Harder to do that with the car.

Found with keyknee. Had some difficulty with both stages. S1 was a little wet. Good coordinates there. Looks like the S1 reference artifact is altered.

Found S2 about 50 ft from the specified location. The cache was exposed and at the opposite corner of the S2 artifact. I left it that way. It looks like someone signed it yesterday.

Out on some uncharted territory for us and grabbing a few caches along the way. Nice little historic multi out in this neck of the woods. Thanks for the hide. SL

I have a tremendous admiration for the pioneers that discovered the West. We would not live here without their hard work. This is a remote location. So remote that there is (fortunately) no cell phone reception up there and I could not obtain the location of the 2nd cache. So, I will have to get it another time.
Thank you for the cache
