We headed out on a mini caching adventure to clean-up some of the new caches nearby and around the Layfayette and Erie areas. With all of the recent heavy rains the grate was pretty well clogged with debris making it a little tuff to locate the cache. After several minutes of searching the white flag was waved and a call to FLM to get a hint. OMG!!!, I wonder how many times I touched it during the search. Used FLM coords. Very nice hide and camo, SL,TFTC

The Fez Bandits searched for this one at an elevation of 5,496 feet above sea level on a sunny, 90°F afternoon, but could not find it. The coordinates lead to a spot in the grass just north of the creek, far from anything metal that a magnetic cache could attach to. I checked the gate which blocks access from the culverts leading under the road, but didn't see anything except a bunch of trash and creek debris. It smelled on this hot afternoon, so I didn't get too close.
