This was an oportunity that was too good to pass up. All the camo had been provided and all I needed to do was place the cache.

Be warned that no matter where you park this cache requires some walking. Or, you could ride your bike but I would discourage you from doing this as I have patched my bike inner tubes multiple times after my bike tires have picked up some goats heads that seem to infest the area. Stickers aren't the only things that live here though and if you keep your eyes open you can see a variety of wildlife that may include;

Redwinged Blackbirds, Ringneck Doves, House Sparrows, Swallows, Canadian Geese, Great Blue Herons, Redtail Hawks, Bald Eagles, Night Hawks, Blue Grosbeaks, Flickers, etc.

Rabbits, Prarie Dogs, Skunks, Coyotes, Garter Snakes, Bull Snakes, etc.

All of the critters in this list I've seen at one time or another near this cache. I'd be interested in hearing what you see while you are finding this Geocache.

Please be gentle with the camo and try to leave it the way you found it.

Out on this beautiful, but hot July day with good friends GanderGoose and mooseyaround. GG came up with this great plan. Thank you for this neat cache Alpenist.

Went with GanderGoose and #1Beefers on an "Alpenist" caching adventure this morning, with a few other cachers' caches sprinkled in. Didn't see much wildlife this morning, other than a few prairie dogs. Probably because the trail was very active with walkers/runners, dogs and bicycles. Thank you for the unique placement and cache Alpenist. SL.

Wow nice hide. It took us a few minutes of going around until I spotted something and the cache was revealed. SL. Thanks.

We walked from the amphitheater to look for the Russian Olive. A fun hide. I didn't trade anything but I signed the log.

We headed out on a mini caching adventure to clean-up some of the new caches nearby and around the Layfayette and Erie areas. Nice short walk to GZ, I must of walked around this tree at lease 3 times and each time I looked for the cache I ended up getting poked in the eye by a branch, I guess I might have to start wearing eye protectionWink. After spending about 15 minutes going around in circles I gave FLM a call to get a hint OMG!!! I looked right at it the first time but kept on searching. Very nice hide, TNLN,SL,TFTC
