A small cache along the historic Highline Canal
This cache is located on part of the historic Highline Canal which is a water feature used to irrigate parts of what is now the Denver-Metro Area. The canal was first built in 1883 using design principles that would allow it to transport water without the use of machinery. There is now a recreation trail adjacent to the canal. The Highline Canal is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) for its association with the irrigation projects that allowed Denver to grow and for its display of a type of engineering used during the period of its construction.

Lots of people use the canal so be wary, also, the cache is on the eastern side of the canal (the western side is private property). Don't worry too much, but be safe and watch out for snakes.
The cache is a small container large enough for a pen, log, and small treasures. A trackable has also been placed in it for FTF or whomever wants to take it.
