NAA - Native American Arrowhead Series.

This series is comprised of 41 geocaches named after Native American arrowhead types, and placed along the entire stretch of Upper Lake Gulch Road. I enjoy looking for such artifacts when I’m not out finding caches, so I thought that I would bring two hobbies of mine together.

Upper Lake Gulch Road is a dirt road most of the way, so you won’t have to deal with much traffic. Please be respectful to all of the places in which you will hunt, and come prepared with long pants and gloves (plenty of bushwhacking and thistles that you will have to deal with).

This series is also meant to be a slightly different style of “power trail.” While most power trails consist of the same type of container being found over and over again, this series will feature a variety of containers and sizes with many different types of camouflage. I ask that you replace all containers as you found them.

Special thanks to poolsharkycat and imusttravel2000 for being the inspiration of this series with their power trails in Denver and on the Eastern Plains, featuring the variety of containers, sizes, and camos as well. Thanks also to brennan7, who supplied many of the different spice and pill bottles that you will see.

Good luck and enjoy the series!

Nice weather, time - we made the "power"-trail by car. Most caches are well, some were not so easy to find - but we found all. We thank for this cache-road in a pretty area.

In the area with lasouthpaw to sign as many Challenge caches, visit as many Virtuals, and get as many rays as we can for the 360 Degrees of Colorado Challenge. We had beautiful weather today as we cached our way back north. We had started this series in the winter... so much easier today!!! TFTC!

After a couple days of caching around Colorado Springs with peace love pi, we started heading back north. We wanted to both beat traffic and get some caching done. We remembered how much we enjoyed this power trail and decided to come this way to complete it. We had a great day for caching - mild temps, slight breeze, sunny but not hot. We replaced logs and containers as needed and we were pretty efficient moving along the trail. Sorry for the cut and paste logs, but we were cruisin! Thank you for this most awesome set of caches. Find #3586.

We found this one on the ground. We couldn't find a hanger to hang it back up, but we still found a spot for it in the tree. Tftc.

I haven't had much time for geocaching, so I am trying to knock out all the Hidden Creatures souvenirs this weekend. LilRyRy refused to take a nap and we had to head home when CDRSheppo woke up screaming inconsolably. This one took a minute to find because it's not where it's supposed to be. Thanks for the cache!
