I came upon this place and it just about blew me away with the views. This cache is along Boreas Pass. A beautiful drive along a historic old railroad.

You might want to pick up a pamphlet that takes you through a driving tour of Boreas Pass with numbered stops along the way. You can pick the pamphlet up at the Forest Service Office in Fairplay, or they may also have one at the "Mountain Man Gallery" in Como. Be sure to check out the beautiful artwork in the gallery.

I won this RocketMan stocked container at the "Mountain Pizza and 4x4 Caching Adventure" which was held June, 2007. It only took me a year to place this cache. Wink

This drive along the Boreas Pass was surely spectacular and fun in our little hire car with the mighty all terrain vehicles that we met up here!
Found quite quickly with the good coordinates, great to find such a big cache and suck a good condition.

It was a sloppy day for a trip through Boreas Pass, but I went for it nonetheless. The rain and hail held off until I was right at the top of the pass, so there was time for a few caches. TFTC!
