Located just off the Greenland exit and I-25 in the new Greenland Open Space area. Cache is easy to find, trail to the cache is about 1.5 miles one way. Park at the trail head for the Greenland Open Space.
Cache is a green ammo box. Cache is full with decent items such as a stop watch and small books. Stay to the left at the first major fork in the trail. This trail is uphill most of the way to the cache, but a bike ride back down is nice. Watch out for the gifts left by horses. This is a good workout at about 7000 feet.

Cookoff. That was a lot more trail than I expected!

This cache is a little musty - seems that water keeps finding its way in. We signed the log, left a couple of trinkets and took nothing. Thanks for the find!

Northern most part of my ride, planning to come back and try a different bike here. A nice quick cache, didn't have to move to far from the trail for this one whick is nice. Appreciate the cache, with the sound of thunder I'm off to the trailhead.

Thanks for the fun cache! I was up in the area after work to grab a few caches up this way. I grabbed this one on the was back to the car. The leaves haven't come in yet so this was really easy to find. Signed and stamped the log and returned as found. All is in great shape here. Thanks for placing this one for us all to enjoy!

A 9+ mile hike through the open space today picking up the geocaches that I hadn't found yet. I think next time I might have to ask Back Country Horseman if I can borrow her horse or at least hitch a ride! TFTC SL
