Green duck-taped cookie tin literally under the Silverthread Hwy 149.  For parking, take the first right after you cross the bridge over the Rio Grande and take an immediate right to a small dirt road with a convenient turn around.  Initial contents contain postcards, recipe cards, seed packets, Mardi Gras beads, silly bands, plastic reptiles , and a $5 cup of coffee at a local cafe for the FTF.  Also, the Alphabet TB.

Traveling from Gunnison to Gallup taking the scenic route, targeting new counties, Delorme pages, highly favored and birthday caches...this was the birthday cache, placed 6 years ago today...had to be careful with the river so high...TFTC!

Great place for a hike! Fun little walk! Good directions. Disappointed that it indicates there’s a trackable in there and there wasn’t when we got there. Hope someone else took it hasn’t had a chance to log it yet.
