As icezebra11 reported, we had a great trip to Castle Rock and the Parker area today with his puppy Angel and my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo. We met up at the ParknRide in Loveland at 6 am and drove directly to Castle Rock, starting our cache-finding hikes with the dogs at the Ridgeline Open Space, shifting from there to Miller Park for a long loop hike involving some fine caches, then heading back northward to the Parker and Centennial areas for some good targets. It was a very successful day of geocaching, despite the temperatures reaching at least the mid-90s while were were on the trails. At Miller Park the zip line activities were fascinating; I will need to return there sometime to do the zip line sequence!
I have always enjoyed Sudoku puzzles and work on one or more each day. So when icezebra11 identified several Sudokus for our trip to this area it caught my attention. Now, the "Relational" ones have given me some challenges. Fortunately for me, I've done some HexDec puzzles in the past, so this one didn't pose to many problems--it just took some time! Thanks for it, KA&JWest!

Denali41 and I, along with his Lab puppies Zaba and Chimi, and my Lab puppy Angel had a great caching day in the Castle Rock and south Metro areas today, scoring on a lot of really nice caches.
Our first stop was to do some hiking in Castle Rock's Ridgeline Open Space. After we finished there, we next went to Miller Park. It was definitely a really warm day on the trails! We parked near the bottom of the incline and did a long clockwise loop through the park. I enjoy Sudoku puzzles and I didn't have too much trouble completing this grid. Once I had the required digits, the final conversion was an easy one and the geochecker confirmed I had done it correctly. Thanks KA&JWest for another fun puzzle cache!!!

Out with Kerewin0430 today. After the bad traffic and inclement weather, I feel like we really earned this one! Thanks for the cache!

Targeted a few caches with COpackrat this afternoon. Due to an unfortunate combination of VERY slow traffic on 25 and an ominous weather report, we didn't expect to get many, but for sure wanted this one. No sooner had we stepped out of the car when the rain started pouring down, which turned to painful hail as we approached the cache! Signed this one quickly and as we left, the hail stopped. Talk about timing! Thanks for this challenge.

This one was a fast solve using an unconventional method.
I was once again on the way to the gym and wanted to switch it up by finding a non-traditional cache for the day. A cold walk up the trail in an area that I've been too quite a few times and soon I was on my way.
There weren't that many people out today and I understand why, there is still snow on the ground after all. Even still, I saw signs here that were advertising an upcoming race and was interested until I saw the prices.
I liked the cache container for this one, it's holding up very well.

Solved this one long ago but first time we’re back in the park. Out enjoying the park and a hike with DimensionGarret, Landen24 and weasel311. We found this one much faster than I had expected. All is well with the cache and log.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, KA&JWest for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.
I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!
