Don’t you just love the circus
A place so filled with magic
Where even if the show is new
The acts spectacularly classic

A place with lions and tigers
And the crowd roars even louder
And the art is brought to life
Like it’s sprinkled in magic powder

Where the clown is real
Like the laughs that will follow
And your dreams are full filled
Your never left feeling hollow

The daredevils in the spotlight
Have you holding your breath
The show is so full with life
But it’s like performing with death

There is no other place like it
Where they bring magic to the surface
It’s a whole new world to discover
This is the life on the circus

This is on a nice walking trail with a view of a windmill and mountains to the West. I have been waiting for the right place to hide a found container at the right time. After a fancy top modification, I chose this place HERE. As this is such a juxtaposition in location to cache, this felt right. This location is far from a circus, yet provides an unexpecting view and feeling of getting away from life as a circus. I spent time here looking at the windmill far from reach. Interesting area here near the Highlands Ranch Mansion. If you have time to visit, I recommend the visit.

An exciting container for a surprise find!

BYOB.

Within the Highlands Ranch Historic Park:
Once part of a vast ranching empire in Colorado, the Mansion is located within the future 250-acre Highlands Ranch Historic Park that includes a working ranch. The Mansion is surrounded by historic barns, a bunkhouse, ranch houses, corrals, pastures and the iconic windmill. The current park is just less than 50 acres and includes the grounds of the Mansion. Approximately 1.4 miles of soft surface trails provide panoramic views and connections to the rest of the Highlands Ranch Metro District’s extensive trail system. The Historic Park, including the grounds and front lawn of the Mansion, is open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., unless closed for a private event.

amazing container, with an even more amazing view! i didn't have to worry about muggles at all, as this spot is so secluded. unfortunately though, in typical stikbot fashion, i forgot a pen :(

Just enough time to go look for a fairly close hide. Great container! Signed log. Thanks for the cache!

[FTF] at 9:02 am. I saw this publish last night and I was a little tempted to give it a shot. But in studying the map it didn't seem like there was any viable street parking in the area. Turns out that wasn't totally right, but it was mostly right.

This morning when I saw it was still available I decided to go for it, given that it's only 1.5 miles from my house. It being Father's Day of course, I decided to bring along my youngest. My oldest son tolerated my caching when we did a college visit trip a couple months ago. And my middle two kids will go occasionally. The youngest will sometimes ask about if we can go find a geocache together. I give an affirmative answer as often as I can! But I usually don't take him on long walks. Ironically, he joined me for my most epic FTF experience ever on GC9H60F. But even today's mile round trip was a good hike for him!

At one point we got passed by a mountain biker. He was concerned that the biker would "win" and beat us to the cache. I assured him it was unlikely. Thankfully I was correct and once we got to GZ it was a quick find and we were rewarded with a blank log sheet!

I have now gotten FTFs on my birthday (6 years ago) and Father's Day! And both involved good walks and weren't LPCs so that is even better! Thanks for the memorable experience.

Thanks for the hide wright4design
